Slow Flow & Relax workshops (new for 2017)

Why this course?

Stop, listen, recalibrate: a golden opportunity to pause and re-connect, through a blend of gentle flowing movement, light breathwork and softening postures.

These deeply relaxing monthly workshops are a check point for coming back to yourself, re-calibrating (To re-calibrate: "To make small changes to an instrument so that it measures accurately”) and fine tuning your connection to your inner wisdom.

In these 90-minute Friday night sessions, we will explore  postures for softening and opening, together with gentle flow and light breath-work -  a powerfully stress-busting combination guaranteed to ease tension in body and mind.

Expertly and sensitively led by Sarah Nunn, who is studying to become a yoga therapst, the sequence will be modified as necessary for individual needs.

No previous experience of yoga is expected or needed, though you should be able to get up and down from the floor with relative ease. Please also be aware that our studio is up three flights of stairs.

About your teacher

Sarah Nunn

Sarah Nunn has been practising yoga for ten years, teaching for three, and is studying to be a Yoga Therapist. She has led many retreats and has a special ability to put people at ease and encourage each individual's potential.

What shall I bring?

All equipment is provided, so there's no need to bring your own mat, blanket, bolster or block - we have everything you're likely to need in our cosy studio.

However, we do recommend that you wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes which allow full unhindered movement, as this will make it much easier to achieve the various positions and postures.
