New Year Replenish and Regenerate workshop

Is it for me?

A chance to shake of the January blues with a series of beautifully led energising postures followed by a chance to relax deeply. For complete yoga beginners as well as those more experienced. With Sophie.

Why take a New Year R&R workshop with us?

Are you feeling a little low in mood or energy, and looking for some time out and rest after a hectic Christmas? Then we invite you to a reviving New Year treat, led by Sophie and held on Saturday January 11, 2020. Max ten spaces - see right-hand box for details and booking.

We can feel the pressure for January to be a time of new beginnings, yet coaxing ourselves out of hibernation at the darkest, coldest time of year can be a real challenge.

Join the lovely Sophie for a soothing, revitalising 90-minute yin/yang yoga session, suitable for beginners as well as those with an established practice.

A sequence of energising, though still accessible, yoga postures will be followed by deeply relaxing Restorative Yoga postures and meditation. We'll employ the help of lavender eye pillows, blankets and bolsters (all provided) to ease body and mind towards support and deep rest.

A golden opportunity for re-setting and self-care, at a time when, if following our natural biorhythms, we would be curled up in retreat from the world, waiting for the longer days and fresh energy of spring to bring us back out into the world.

The afternoon will be led by Sophie MacDonald, who teaches our popular Wednesday evening and Friday night weekly classes. Sophie trained with Simon Low and teaches in a friendly, welcoming way. Her love of yoga shines through.
