Private Yoga and / or Mindfulness classes
Why take private classes?
Private classes are a wonderful way to become acquainted with yoga or mindfulness with the luxury of 1:1 or 2:1 support from an experienced teacher.
The focus can be squarely on yoga or on mindfulness meditation, depending on your needs and choice. A popular approach is to combine the two.
Some people prefer the tailored approach that is possible in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, or do not feel ready to go into a group environment. Others may be working with a specific health condition and need the extra support that private classes offer.
Common specific health concerns for private clients:
* Stress and anxiety
* Chronic Fatigue, Fibromalgia or ME
* Minor back problems
* Stiffness in back, neck and shoulders from chronic tension
Others book private classes from a general wish to increase flexibility, strength and all-round fitness.
What happens during a private class?
The first session will start with a friendly chat about what brings you for private classes, so we can gain an understanding of your intention for practising, and any health issues you seek to address.
From here onwards, we will enjoy a specially designed sequence of yoga postures, or / and mindfulness practices, tailored for your body and mind. We can also give guidance for home practice.

Please note: we require 24 hours' notice of cancellation; otherwise, the full price will be charged.
1:1 or 2:1 classes cost a flat rate of:
£50 an hour, plus VAT, for 60 minutes
Payment is in advance, and usually in six week blocks - see below for available times and online booking. Please contact us if you have any questions at all.
Available time slots for private sessions are:
- Tuesday afternoons between 2pm and 5.30pm
- Tuesday evenings after 7.30pm (please enquire)
- Wednesday afternoons between 2pm and 5.30pm
- Between 12 and 1.00pm on Thursdays
