Why take private classes?

Private Yoga class

Private classes are a wonderful way to become acquainted with yoga or mindfulness (or the two together) with the luxury of 1:1 or 2:1 support from an experienced teacher.

Some people prefer the tailored approach that is possible in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, or do not feel ready to go into a group environment. Others may be working with a specific health condition and need the extra support that private classes offer.

Common specific health concerns for private clients:

* Stress and anxiety
* Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia or ME
* Insomnia
* Minor back problems
* Stiffness in back, neck and shoulders from chronic tension

Others book private classes from a general wish to increase flexibility, strength and all-round fitness.

What happens during a private class?

The first session will start with a friendly chat about what brings you for private classes, so we can gain an understanding of your intention for practising, and any health issues you seek to address.

From here onwards, we will enjoy a specially designed sequence of yoga postures, or / and mindfulness practices, tailored for your body and mind. We can also give guidance for home practice.


Terms and conditions

Please note: we require 48 hours' notice of cancellation; otherwise, the full price will be charged.



1:1 or 2:1 mindfulness or yoga (or a blend of both) classes cost a flat rate of:

One-off session: a total of £60, including VAT, for 60 minutes.

Four or more 60-minute  sessions booked: £55 an hour per session, including VAT. 

Full payment is due in advance for all bookings. 

Currently available slots include Tuesday and Wednesday lunch times and afternoons, and Saturday mornings. Please contact us to enquire.
