Our yoga escapes are popular amongst single people and solo travellers - the schedule combines structured activities, such as yoga and meditation classes or walking, with plenty of free time, allowing you to do as much or as little as you would like.

We are often asked: is it OK to come alone, and our reply is always the same: yes, many people do, and in fact those who do, often get most out of the experience. Not only is this previous time to focus just on your own health and wellbeing, but this comes hand-in-hand with the ready-made opportunity to meet like-minded people.

Our yoga groups are small - around 10/12 people on average - so there is plenty of scope to meet new friends and exchange experiences; yet balanced with alone-time.

We estimate that, on most of our retreats, 50-80% of guests will be travelling alone. Whilst these are mostly women, we are pleased to see increasing numbers of solo male travellers.

Which retreats are suitable for single travellers?

We do not currently offer exclusively singles yoga retreats, however, due to the high numbers of solo travellers that we see on all of our retreats - many of whom book time and time again, we believe the all of our retreats are suitable for single travellers, and in our opinion the what is the best retreat comes down to the following simple question: what do you want to get out of your holiday?

Perhaps you are looking for some down-time in a place of tranquility or maybe you looking for some structure and activity during your holiday or maybe the opportunity to explore a new destination. We run a wide range of yoga, yoga and walking and mindfulness retreats and so we hope we have something for every one.
