In-studio classes
Are you seeking a friendly central Chelmsford Beginners’ Yoga class with a down-to-earth, accessible feel? Join us for our Beginners’ and Yoga Gently sessions at the beautiful, light-filled first floor Mill Studio, Moulsham Mill. You’ll find a warm welcome, highly inclusive approach and tiny groups with a max of ten students, averaging just eight. Booking through membership or rolling six-week blocks, bookable at any time (no need to wait to the start of a new block). More below!

Our long-running Thursday evening beginners’ class is for complete Yoga beginners or / and those seeking a mindful, thorough approach. Note: this a non-flow style class, expertly led by Sarah Sadler.
Yoga Gently: Saturdays 9.45am

Our lovely Saturday Yoga Gently class offers a beautifully soft and yet detailed approach - to suit Beginners and ‘older’ students - and a community feel. Students should be able to get onto the floor.
Live streamed classes
Are you keen on practising Yoga at home, with all the benefits of time, ease, cost and convenience - plus the immediacy and sense of community that is still present with a live stream? We have been live streaming classes since the Covid pandemic and have maintained this enjoyable way of practising Yoga due to its popularity! All you need is the Zoom app and a quiet-ish space. Zoom access links are emailed two hours before the start of class.

Our popular live streamed Tuesday evening class has retained the friendly, community feel of online classes that ran, as did this one, right through the pandemic. Equally suitable for those appreciating the enjoyment of a live class delivered to your lounge, or spare room! For beginners or those wanting to practice gently. Lisa Hands is a popular, experienced teacher.
Yoga Gently: Thursdays 9.15am
With Lucia Cockcroft
Lucia’s long-standing Thursday morning classes has been running for a decade, initially in-studio. Now with students attending this live streamed class from various parts of the UK, you can expect an extremely gentle, thoughtful teaching approach (suitable for all ages) comprising breath-led mindful movement and plenty of opportunity for Rest and Relaxation. You should be able to get on and off the floor.
Workshops and day retreats…
We run regular workshops and day retreats in the Chelmsford area which tend to be based around relaxation and mindfulness. Usually they also involve a chance to connect with other students and enjoy some vegan chocolate brownies! All are welcome.
