Mindfulness mentoring, live streamed: private support for your practice
Mindfulness mentoring is for anyone who has had previous mindfulness training - for example, completion of an eight-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course - and would like some support in continuing to practice.
Sessions are on a one:to:one basis and usually held over zoom, though it may be possible to arrange in-person sessions in Frinton-on-Sea or Chelmsford.
It can be challenging to sustain a home meditation practice, and can also feel lonely at times, especially once a formal mindfulness course has come to a close and with it, the support and learning of a group.
Having the gentle support of an experienced mindfulness-based teacher can help in many ways, providing inspiration and structure to your practice.
Some of the ways mindfulness-based mentoring can help you in your practice journey include:
inspiring your home practice and helping bring creativity and variety to your practice
offering suggestions around the practical aspects of maintaining practice at home, such as length and regularity; time of day; relevant online supports such as apps
offering ways of working with any challenges that may arise
looking at how practice can be integrated into your life in ways that feel sustainable and helpful
if relevant, investigating that type of retreat to chose to go on in a world where there are now so many retreats to chose from, varying so much in their tone and offering
Our mentoring sessions can take place on a one-off basis or more regularly; for example weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Online booking is in the right-hand column on this page, or please do get in touch if you would like to discuss in more detail.
